“Art is the meeting ground of the world inside and the world outside.” Elinor Ulman

Welcome, I’m Begoña
Welcome, I’m Begoña—a registered ANZACATA Art Therapist and trained yoga teacher. I also hold a Fine Arts degree majoring in photography and bring a lifelong love of creativity and self-expression into the therapy space.
My work is grounded in a trauma-informed, person-centred approach. I support both children and adults to reconnect with themselves, process difficult experiences, and build emotional resilience. I use art, play, mindfulness, and somatic tools to help clients express their inner world—especially when words are hard to find.
Who I work with
Over the years, I’ve supported people navigating a wide range of challenges, including Autism, ADHD, anxiety, grief, trauma, and attachment difficulties. I’ve worked in refuge settings with women and children leaving domestic violence, offering art therapy, counselling, and practical support. I’ve also supported people impacted by institutional trauma through work with the Royal Commission into Disabilities and the National REDRESS Scheme.
In my work with disengaged high school students, I brought art therapy into their homes to build trust and connection—supporting their gradual return to education through individualised, compassionate care.

My Approach
At the heart of my practice is the belief in the power of connection—between self, others, and our emotions. I aim to create a space where clients feel safe, seen, and supported on their healing journey. My sessions are collaborative and respectful of each person’s unique strengths, pace, and story.
Clients often tell me they feel more at ease expressing themselves through image and movement, especially when traditional talk therapy has felt overwhelming or limiting. I meet each person where they are—with creativity, compassion, and curiosity.
If you or your child are looking for a safe, creative space to explore and heal, I invite you to reach out.
Sessions are available Monday to Saturday, online or in-person.
